The Bob Moore design delivers championship character through its long, flowing fairways and vast greens. Each of the three nines offers a different rhythm, keeping play interesting whether you’re a first-timer or a regular. Conditioning is consistently among the best in Southeast Asia, rivaling top regional resorts. From a technical standpoint, the standout feature is the agronomy. Royale was the first in the region to utilize Sea Isle Supreme Paspalum from tee to green, and the difference is palpable. The ball sits up as if placed on a tee, inspiring confidence with irons and fairway woods. However, this perfection is the course's primary defense; the slick, grain-free greens demand a delicate touch, and the ball reacts with such purity that any error in striking is immediately revealed. It is a surface that flatters good shots but exposes poor ones.

The 'Royale' moniker extends well beyond the fairways. The infrastructure is built to handle high-volume luxury with zero friction. The locker rooms are cavernous and opulent—arguably the best in Jakarta—providing a sanctuary that feels more like a 5-star hotel spa than a sports facility. Furthermore, the culinary experience is a serious affair here; the restaurant’s authentic Indonesian sop buntut (oxtail soup) is legendary among locals, ensuring the experience ends on a high note even if your scorecard didn't.
